than it is in the USA and certainly Europe. However, it is better to own a 360 in the USA. You just get more features and perks if you own the console in its country of origin, this is common knowledge.
Only insignificant fanboys say a given console is better to own EVERYWHERE, and since 95% of the people who post on N4G fit into that class, its no surprise to me that most of you are saying just that.
Not sure I buy the "console is so powerful developers don't know how to use it" theory.
When something is more powerful, it does what it is made to do with less effort not more. You wouldn't say a Honda accord is more powerful than a Lamborghini, its just that people don't know how to drive it so thats why it doesn't go as fast?!?
If the PS3 is more powerful it should do everything better, not just exclusives.

360 ownes 3rd party success because they make third parties more money, 3rd parties more often than not lead develop on 360, 3rd party titles tend to look and perform better on 360, and 3rd party games sell far more on 360 in most cases.
As for them both doing well, that is relative, Sony owned gaming last gen, Xbox was an after thought. Even if sales were equal this gen it would be a huge loss for Sony because Xbox was the underdog, Sony was expected to slaughter the 360.

Sorry but its true, MS stole gaming from Sony in the US, and for now they lead in the rest of the world as well minus, the tiny Japanese market.
I gotta say it is pretty amazing how MS stole the gaming market away from Sony on just their second attempt. Pretty sharp MS, keep up the quick and nimble success, it benefits us gamers the most.

HHG is a pretty good site, yes they use sensational headlines to get hits, but they also write about things and think about things in a way that NO ONE else does. IGN won't even post a story that is positive in regards to 360, and they are afraid to post anything negative in regards to PS3, no matter how overdue or true the facts maybe.

Hey Sera, actually fanboys said Killzone would destroy not only Halo, but every game ever made. In reality, its just another FPS that PS3 fanboys were keen on but no one else wanted after one go at those broken controls.

PS3 fans would not admit if you did have problems. Those of you who do are stand up individuals, because I know for a fact that PS3 is not as perfect as some of you tools would have everyone to believe.
Like I said b4, for the most part MS is better with the software side of things, while sony is better with hardware. Some of the problems we see with PS3 however are hard to tell if they are hardware or software.

But while I was at Bestbuy, we were bothered by all the malfunctions of the consoles when customers returned to geek squad (or called) with problems. PS3 had the most, 360 2nd, Wii hardly ever. 360 has RROD and disk scratching; the rest of its issues are quite rare. PS3 however has a couple hardware issues that we see alot, although...
believe its worth it. Problem is, there are far more people with next gen consoles who DO NOT have HDTVs than there are people who do have HDTVs.
This is why you cant put to much faith in bluray alone saving PS3, if the majority of buyers don't even have HDTVs yet, then what do they need with bluray?
